Ashley rambled on and on while unpacking the luggage, seated comfortably on the floor. Meanwhile, Primo was propped on the edge of the bed, watching her make a mess in one area.
It wasn't that Primo wasn't listening — he was. But the luggage and the things she was taking out distracted him.
In his mind, he was… mortified at how she had stuffed everything into one suitcase.
There were snacks, souvenirs, and then seeds and plants! Plants! There was even a printed shirt from some plantation, and then a few jars of pure honey right beside the toys. As someone who liked everything organized and separated, this was pure horror for the little boy.

But Ashley didn't bother with that, thinking that having everything packed — or placed in Tupperware (for the plants) — was enough.
