The next day arrived swiftly, the golden rays of the morning sun spilling gently across Finn's face.
He stirred in bed, shifting slightly as his hand landed on something firm. The sensation made a faint, sleepy smile tug at his lips.
So hard… yet soft at the same time.
A quiet breath escaped him as his thoughts drifted.
Am I back on Earth? Or… am I still in the palace? Finn wondered inwardly, swallowing hard. It would be nice to go back to see what really happened before I died… but staying here isn't so bad either. At least I don't have to struggle like I did back there.
With that lingering thought, he slowly opened his eyes...
Only to freeze in shock.
"Good morning," Orion's voice came, low and teasing. "Are my abs really that irresistible? You couldn't help yourself, hm?"
Finn's eyes widened as he realized exactly what his hand had been resting on. He immediately yanked it back as if burned.
