The beam from the origin engine pierces the fracture in the sky.
Light twists.
Reality bends.
The Observer stops moving.
Its massive eye narrows.
For the first time…
It hesitates.
Seraphine whispers,
"Bridge stabilizing."
Elias stares at the controls.
"Energy levels rising."
Jonas grips his weapon.
"…that thing looks angry."
The sky cracks again.
A second eye begins forming beside the first.
Future Kael swears under his breath.
"It's splitting."
Aria steps forward.
"No."
Her voice echoes strangely.
"It's resisting."
Commander Veyron watches with cold interest.
"So this is your brilliant plan."
Kael doesn't look at him.
"Still working."
Aria raises both hands.
The clocks around the chamber spin wildly again.
Tick.
Tick.
Tick.
The beam grows brighter.
The sky pulls inward.
The massive eye of the Observer slowly begins sliding toward the chamber.
Like gravity grabbing a god.
Jonas whispers,
"…oh."
"That's terrifying."
The creature speaks.
"You misunderstand the scale of your actions."
Seraphine smiles faintly.
"We understand perfectly."
The Observer resists harder.
The fracture explodes with light.
Aria screams as energy surges through her.
Kael grabs her.
"Hold it!"
Aria grits her teeth.
"I'm trying!"
The sky tears open.
The Observer begins falling into the chamber.
And the universe shudders.
Because something that should never enter reality…
is about to arrive.
