The first one stepped through completely.

Then the second.

Then the third.

They didn't rush.

Didn't collide.

Didn't hesitate.

Each movement was clean, deliberate, controlled like they were all following the same silent instruction.

But they weren't identical.

That was the problem.

Each one looked… optimized.

Different builds. Different proportions. Different posture.

Like the system had taken everything it learned and decided there wasn't just one perfect form

There were many.

The girl's voice came out thin. "No… no, this is not happening."

Victor didn't answer.

He was counting.

Not out loud.

Just tracking.

Positions. Angles. Distance.

Threat.

Dante didn't move.

Not yet.

His gaze swept across them quick, precise like he was trying to understand the pattern before it fully locked in.

"They're not random," he said.

Camille's signal flickered sharply. "They're distributing."

Victor nodded slightly. "Flanking positions."

"Containment formation," Dante corrected.
