"If you had just gotten rid of her earlier," she added nervously, her voice trembling slightly, "you wouldn't have to deal with all this stress now...."
Her words were cut off abruptly as Damien's hand shot out, gripping her throat with terrifying force.
Jessica let out a strangled gasp as her feet lifted off the ground, her back slamming hard against the wall.
"Seems like you're eager to be disposed of," Damien said coldly, his eyes dark and merciless. "Perhaps I should get rid of you instead… then you won't have the chance to keep irritating me."
Jessica clawed weakly at his hand, her face turning pale as panic flooded her eyes.
"I...i...I'm sorry, Boss...!" she choked out desperately.
Without warning, Damien released her.
She collapsed onto the floor, coughing violently as she clutched her throat, struggling to breathe.
"I'm sorry, Boss… it won't happen again…" she rasped, her voice shaky and broken.
