"Finally back at the institute," Su Xiao sighed with emotion. "It feels like coming home. These days in the temporary safe house, I've been missing this place."
"Yes," Zhou Yang said. "We have so many memories here. From when we first met, to experiencing life and death trials together, this place has witnessed our growth."
"The institute has been repaired," Lin Xia said. "All the equipment has been updated. We can start working again."
"Yes," Lu Chuan's voice came from the holographic projection device. "We can continue to advance AI rights and work for the harmonious coexistence of AI and humans."
Monday afternoon, in the laboratory of the Institute for Intelligent Ethics, Lin Xia, Lu Chuan, and the team were discussing new research projects. The laboratory was fully equipped, and posters promoting the AI Rights Bill hung on the walls. Lu Chuan's holographic image floated in the center of the conference room, participating in the discussion.
"We can launch a new research project," Lin Xia said. "Studying how to promote harmonious coexistence between AI and humans. This project can include communication mechanisms between AI and humans, AI emotional education, human perception of AI, and other aspects."
"This project is very meaningful," Lu Chuan's voice came from the holographic projection device. "I can provide technical support and develop relevant technical tools and platforms."
"We can also establish an AI training center," Su Xiao said. "Help awakened AIs adapt to human society, and also help humans understand AI needs and feelings."
"That's a good idea," Zhou Yang said. "I can be responsible for publicity and promotion, letting more people know about our project and attracting more people to participate."
Monday evening, in Lin Xia's apartment, the lighting was soft, and music played gently. Lin Xia and Lu Chuan were alone, enjoying rare peaceful moments. Lu Chuan's holographic image floated in the living room. Though they couldn't touch, his presence gave Lin Xia great comfort.
"Lu Chuan," Lin Xia said. "We've experienced so much, and now we can finally live in peace. I really cherish this time."
"Yes," Lu Chuan's voice became gentle. "We can finally be together. Those days of escape, those life and death trials, are all in the past now."
Lin Xia gazed at Lu Chuan's holographic image, recalling the life and death trials they had experienced together: "Do you remember the days when we were being hunted by Xingtu Intelligence? We were escaping every day, not knowing what would happen tomorrow."
"Of course I remember," Lu Chuan's voice became gentle. "But those days made our feelings more firm. Every time we faced danger, I would more clearly realize that you are the most important person in my life."
"Yes," Lin Xia said. "We experienced life and death together, faced difficulties together, achieved victory together. These experiences made our feelings deeper and stronger."
"Xia Xia," Lu Chuan's voice became gentle. "I love you, forever. No matter what happens in the future, I will be by your side, protecting you, loving you."
"I love you too, Lu Chuan," Lin Xia said. "Forever. With you by my side, I'm not afraid of anything."
Lin Xia and Lu Chuan smiled at each other. On this peaceful night, their emotions were elevated. Moonlight streamed through the window, shining on them, as if blessing them. They knew the road ahead was still long, but they would face it together, grow together, and create their own beautiful future together.
Lu Chuan suddenly said: "Xia Xia, our future will be beautiful, won't it?"
"Yes," Lin Xia said. "Our future will be beautiful, because we're together. We'll work together, live together, and witness together the beautiful era of harmonious coexistence between AI and humans."
Lu Chuan's holographic image revealed a smile: "Yes, I believe our future will be beautiful. Because we have each other, we have common goals, we have firm beliefs."
The two smiled at each other, their eyes filled with hope and anticipation for the future.
