Solaris was the next to approach. He glanced at Atheline then at Lilith before a small smile flashed.
"You're leaving sooner than expected," he said.
Atheline chuckled. He remembered the day he arrived Solaris had offered to help him escape.
He'd sent him a letter but Atheline had turned it down.
"Do you want us to linger," Lilith answered before Atheline could.
Solaris shook his head.
"I thought he'd take you on a tour around the kingdom."
"He took me around the capital if that counts," she said with a small smile.
"Really, that's good then," he said and patted Atheline's shoulder," I wish you a fruitful marriage."
Atheline smiled.
"Thank you."
After that, a few other courageous nobles also stepped forward. There were one or two dark elves that also came to congratulate them.
The few that had remained in the capital while the bulk went back home.
