For the first time, the darkness inside the temple began to retreat.
The golden light coming from Abhishek's body spread throughout the temple. The ancient symbols carved into the walls started glowing brightly. It seemed as if the evil that had existed for centuries was finally coming to an end.
Ayush looked at Abhishek in amazement.
"Abhishek... maybe we have won."
But then...
BOOM!
Kalvetal's enormous black hand, which was still trying to escape from the deep abyss, was suddenly pulled backward.
Kalvetal's terrifying voice echoed throughout the temple.
"NOOOO!"
His hand slowly disappeared back into the darkness. The abyss began closing along with it. Within moments, Kalvetal had completely disappeared into the darkness.
But the story was not over yet.
The golden chains around the shadow creature, which had broken earlier, suddenly appeared again.
The creature screamed.
"No! You cannot imprison me again!"
This time, the chains were far more powerful. They wrapped tightly around his arms, legs, and entire body.
The creature struggled with all its strength, but nothing worked.
The chains slowly began dragging him toward the dark room at the back of the temple.
Scrape... scrape... scrape...
The sound of his body being dragged across the stone floor echoed throughout the temple.
Finally, the creature was pulled inside the room.
BANG!
The door shut by itself.
As soon as it closed, all the light inside the temple disappeared.
The golden glow of Abhishek's pendant slowly faded away.
The pendant returned to its normal state.
For several seconds, nobody spoke.
Then...
Silence filled the temple.
For the first time, the place felt peaceful.
Ayush walked toward Abhishek, who was lying unconscious on the ground.
"Abhishek... wake up!"
Abhishek slowly opened his eyes.
Ayush grabbed his shoulder.
"This is not the time to lie unconscious. Come on, get up. We need to get out of here."
Abhishek immediately looked toward his grandfather.
"No... I'm not leaving without my grandfather."
Ayush became serious.
"Abhishek, your grandfather is trapped inside that same room with the shadow creature. We cannot go back there right now. We need to get outside and bring more people with us. Then we'll come back and rescue your grandfather."
He paused and continued,
"But right now, staying alive is the most important thing. Come on. Look! There's the way out of the temple."
Abhishek stood up slowly.
Before leaving, he looked toward the dark room.
"Dada Ji... I will definitely come back. Please wait for me."
As Abhishek and Ayush moved toward the exit, Abhishek suddenly noticed something lying on the floor.
It was an old book covered in dust.
There was a strange symbol on its cover.
Abhishek picked it up.
Written on the cover were the words:
"Kalvetal and His Two Sons."
Abhishek's expression suddenly changed.
"Ayush..."
"What happened?"
Abhishek showed him the book.
"We need to understand what all of this really means."
Ayush looked at the book and said,
"Not now. We need to get outside first."
The two boys took the book and finally left the temple.
As soon as they stepped outside, they saw many villagers standing there.
Their parents were also there.
When the villagers saw that their children had come out safely, many of them rushed toward them.
But within seconds, angry voices began filling the area.
"Why did you go inside?"
"We told you not to go near that temple!"
"Do you have any idea how worried we were?"
The village Sarpanch stepped forward and asked everyone to calm down.
"Forget all of this for now. Your children have returned safely. You should be happy about that."
Then he looked toward the temple and said,
"We should not stay near this temple for too long. Everyone should forget about this incident and go back to their homes."
But Abhishek immediately spoke.
"No!"
Everyone turned toward him.
Abhishek said,
"I'm not leaving without my grandfather."
The villagers were shocked.
People began whispering among themselves.
"Dhyan Chand is still inside?"
"But the children came out..."
"What happened inside that temple?"
Abhishek began telling everyone everything that had happened inside.
He told them about the shadow creature.
He told them about Kalvetal.
He told them about the deep prison, the golden chains, and the ancient mantra.
But when he finished, nobody believed him.
"You mean there was a demon inside the temple?"
"And you're saying your pendant produced golden light?"
"You were probably frightened and imagined all of this."
No one believed Abhishek.
Then Abhishek looked at Ayush.
"Ayush, tell them. You saw everything too."
Ayush remained silent for a few moments.
He looked toward the temple.
Then he looked at the villagers.
There was so much fear in his eyes that everyone became quiet.
Finally, Ayush said,
"Abhishek is telling the truth."
Everyone became silent.
Ayush continued,
"But what we saw inside... was not just some ordinary demon."
The Sarpanch asked,
"What did you see?"
Ayush replied in a trembling voice,
"We saw Kalvetal."
A complete silence fell over the crowd.
Ayush continued,
"And the most important thing is... Abhishek's grandfather already knew about this temple. He knew what was imprisoned beneath it."
The Sarpanch's face suddenly became serious.
"Who told you that?"
Ayush answered,
"Dhyan Chand Ji himself."
As soon as he heard this, an old man standing behind the crowd spoke.
"Dhyan Chand..."
Everyone turned toward him.
The old man slowly walked forward.
His eyes were filled with fear.
Then he saw the book in Abhishek's hands.
He suddenly stopped.
"Where did you find that book?"
Abhishek replied,
"Inside the temple."
The old man nervously asked,
"Did you open it?"
"No."
The old man took a deep breath in relief.
Then he quietly said,
"Then there is still time..."
Abhishek looked confused.
"Time for what?"
The old man looked toward the temple.
"Never open that book."
Abhishek held the book even tighter.
"Why?"
The old man answered,
"Because that book does not contain the story of Kalvetal..."
He paused.
Then he said,
"It contains the truth that Kalvetal's second son has not awakened yet."
Abhishek and Ayush looked at each other.
At that exact moment...
Abhishek's pendant suddenly gave off a faint glow.
Only for a second.
And then a very soft voice came from inside the temple.
"Abhishek..."
Abhishek's heart almost stopped.
It was his grandfather's voice.
But this time, the voice was not coming from inside the temple...
It was coming from the book in his hands.
Abhishek looked down at the book.
The book slowly began opening by itself.
On the first page, only one sentence was written:
"The Final Guardian has awakened... Now the second son will awaken."
The color drained from Abhishek's face.
Far behind the closed temple door, a terrifying laugh suddenly echoed.
"Ha... ha... ha..."
At the same moment, a black crow sitting on the highest tower of the temple began cawing loudly.
Abhishek finally understood—
Kalvetal had been imprisoned... but the danger was far from over.
