"My name's Lei Zhou."
"I'm Noah Hearth."
Noah shook Lei Zhou's hand. They were at the entrance of the dorm at this moment. Right before this moment Lei Zhou had opened the door. When it swung open, he saw Noah in front of him and apologized a bit and looked behind Noah. He was looking at the three bags of items he had brought to the dorm before he looked at Noah.
"Tell me about yourself, if we are going to be rooming together I gotta know some'em" said Lei Zhou who was leaning on the door trying to act nonchalant. It was definitely not working though; Noah definitely was more confused than impressed
"Gotta? Some'em?" Said Noah who was there with his bags outside of the dorm still in the hallway.
"Yeah, I may be an international, but I have been going to this college for a few years. I had to learn slang."
Noah shook his head before looking rather disappointed while just standing there with his arms crossed. He was thinking of how the year will be going, specifically how the semester is going to be extremely chaotic.
"Let me finish putting my stuff in the dorms we can chat a bit after."
Lei Zhou nodded and he went to grab one of the bags of clothes. He picked it up and moved it to Noah's side of the room and sat down in a chair on his side of the room. The chair was backwards, but he sat down as if it was natural to sit that way.
"So, what's your major?"
Noah was unzipping a suitcase after he had grabbed everything he had and put them in the dorm. The door had closed and it seemed as though Lei Zhou had wanted for the moment the door had closed.
"Biology, pre-med track, and you?" Noah said while he opened a drawer in the closet."
"Computer Science, specifically Software Development." Lei Zhou said while watching Noah put folded clothing in the drawer.
"Oh wait, that means you can mess with mana equipment, right?" Noah said with clothes in his hands and looked back at him when he said that.
"Kind of, I have an internship at the association, that's also how I know your sister."
Lei Zhou continued the conversation while watching Noah try organizing the room from the bed sheets to the hangers and putting a microwave on the fridge that he had brought with a slight struggle.
"Since I am with the association, feel free to visit the department I am in."
Noah nodded while fixing the posters on the wall and then started to get out more things, examples like the covers of his bed and some pillows. He was almost finished setting up the room, but he had realized that he had almost forgotten the extra Items that he had brought with him. So, he walked back to the suitcases and bags to see what he had left. He took out another bag that was within a bag of his suitcase. It was pictures of his family and friends and other items.
While putting the pictures on his dorm desk next to the lamp that was provided, he went back to the bag and took out 2 plushies. One was the Satan plush that he had now renamed Mr. Goat for intent and purposes and the other was merch of his favorite fictional character.
The last two things I have left. I'll leave them on the windowsill on my side of the room.
"Hm? Oh, interesting plushies. Finally, free to chat?
Noah smiled before grabbing the chair by the back of it and sat at the exact pose that Lei Zhou was in. He then showed a smirk on his face.
"Interrogate me."
"What? Being assertive I see, "Okay then I'll bite, age?"
"19, what about you, Mr. Zhou"
"21, I am a senior." Zhou said while he was in the chair and pointed at himself with a smile showing how proud he was as the upper classman.
"Holy unc, dude holy unc." Noah said as if he was replying to the smile from Liu Zhou, who is now dumbfounded by Noah.
"UNC, WHAT? I am NOT that old."
Noah just shrugs his shoulders before he answers back, "You're a senior and I'm a sophomore so you are rather old. Anyways, it's my turn to ask. Third favorite color."
Lie Zhou was once shocked but not as shocked from being called 'unc' by Noah, but still rather shocked and it showed on his face.
"Yeah, yeah third favorite color." said Noah who was waiting for an answer.
"Hm, this is hard, it has to be green." Lie Zhou said while putting his hands on his chin as if trying to think and leaned back a bit as trying to be expressive.
"I swear everyone's favorite is green, is it really green?" Noah said, rather disappointed.
"Dude, then what's yours? Is it better than green?" Lie said trying to counter the provocation.
"I don't know, like black?"
"Black? No, wait I see it, ts may be on to some'em. It literally goes well with everything, like black shirts and blank pants, actually let me change my answer. Mine will also be black."
"Changing your answer to mine? Really? But I can see why, it literally works with everything. The color black is the universal color but too mediocre for it to be someone's favorite. Okay another question, then hm, your favorite chemical compound? Pick something good."
"Methamphetamine."
"Dude."
The two of them paused and nodded before the two of them both smirked and dapped each other up. After they started laughing while holding their stomachs.
"It was definitely nice meeting you, hope we get along this year." Noah said when they stopped laughing and soft chuckling was still heard from Zhou.
Zhou had stopped laughing then looked at Noah's side of the dorm. He was rather impressed by how organized it was while still being rather decorated. Then he looked at the two plushies on the windowsill and he pointed at them curious about it.
"Who are they?"
[Damn. Does he know I'm here?]
