[I'm a marketable plushie?!]
"Yes."
Noah sat on his bed with an official Satanic Deity merch. It was a goat plush with an eye on its forehead and horns that curled around its ears. It also had a tie and the arms and legs were hooved. It looked rather cute if you ignore the third eye and the fact it was a plushie of a demon. Of course, this plush has the real Satan sealed in it.
[I'll die if this plushie is destroyed, are you trying to kill me?]
"You'll be safe, plus the plushie is specially made, Amelia got it from Father Christ before we left as a gift."
[We have merch?]
"Yup, seems like most of the followers have been making a ton of plushies, keychains and stickers. so, they made you look adorable. Haha. This isn't very much like a cult, more like a fandom who really likes a specific character. I think there were figurines as well if my memory is correct. I saw them a while back priced at around 100 USD."
[That is NOT a compliment, especially not to a demon. Did you think I knew about this? Why would they have a figurine of me? I don't trust humans with anything. I'm sure there is someone out there doing horrible things to me. Like setting me on fire or putting me on the ceiling fan and turning it on!]
Noah smiled and picked up the plushie. The size was about 100 mm and made of polyester, so it sat perfectly on his hand. He also noticed that there is a keyring where he could put Satan on his backpack then he chuckled. Then he grabbed the keyring on the plushie which led to Satan's plush body dangling and he laughed harder.
"This is too funny! Hahahaha, once a demon now a marketable plushie. You don't even look threatening, you know I'll tease you for eternity for this, right? "
[I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!]
While Noah was laughing while pointing at the plush, it moved its hands. The sudden movement shocked them both and Noah let go of the plushie and it hit the ground then bounced a little then rolled to the side. Noah quickly apologized before picking the plushie up again. In response to Noah apologizing, Satan moved his tiny plush hands again and flung it around in the air like it was trying to attack Noah.
Satan then grew tired of moving the plush and just sighed which prompted Noah to speak again.
"I didn't think you would be able to move within that body of yours. I guess this makes this a bit easier for the future. The only issue is seeing a moving plushie most definitely scare some people, even if there is mana here, sentient objects aren't real so I will most likely end up in a mental hospital if I tell others. Also, if you do move, I think you would be burned and crucified like the Salum witch trials."
[You shouldn't even know about the history of the United States, where did you even learn that?]
"Oh, I have Hearth's memory. When I arrived in his body we merged basically, it was rather a painful process, I even fainted."
[Hm, interesting.]
Noah then put the plushie on the table right next to the bed and looked at the door where he had noticed the presence of someone behind it.
Amelia opened the door and noticed the plushie she had given him and walked over to him and grabbed the plushie. Satan stayed still within Amelia's hand trying to pretend that he is a plushie, confused Amelia tilting her head a little before shrugging. She turned toward Noah still holding Satan and sighed. Confused Noah asked what was wrong with the plushie. She replied with a cautious tone.
"Nothing, it just felt like someone else was here. Maybe I was just imagining it. Also, this plushie, Father Christ said to bring him around with you. Apparently, it will help with the mana in your blood stream."
Noah nodded and said thanks and Amelia put the plushie to where she had picked it up before. She looked back again at Noah and the plushie before going out of the room and closed the door. Noah was sweating a little while he heard Satan in his head who was also swearing this entire time.
"I don't think you should move around anyone when we go to the dorms at my college, especially not around my roommate. We might die."
Satan moved his plush head up and down rapidly before stopping again.
Before the two of them could continue their previous conversation Amelia called out to Noah so the two of them could eat dinner. When Noah heard Amelia, he looked at the clock by Satan and saw how late it was. So, he went to the door, opened it and waved at Satan as a little goodbye.
Noah walked down the hallway and saw some hanging pictures which seemed to be like Hearth's family. He walked up to a picture of his parents, Hearth's parents and saw how happy they looked then felt a little ache in his chest.
They looked like they were all happy together, I wonder if they would notice me in his body instead of their son. It is good to know in this universe they are alive at least, I hope nothing happens to them.
Noah thought to himself as he turned to the kitchen and walked into the room to meet Amelia who sat down at the table. He smelt the aroma coming from the table which held two sets of plates of side dishes and a bowl of rice, so he walked over and sat down.
"Thank you for the food."
Noah said to Amelia and the two of them started to pick up their chopsticks and started to eat. While Noah was in the middle of grabbing a piece of cucumber from the cucumber salad Amelia started to speak.
"Father Christ sent me a message while I was cooking just now. He said you'll have to go to the side branches of the church and do some community services for the hunters. Although he said it would be safe, I don't really believe that going close to one of those creatures would be remotely safe. After all, these Skinwalkers came from the Appalachian Mountains."
