Chapter 30 - Ch 30- Hestia Familia

After leaving the Guild, Cain brought Eina back to the Hestia Familia.

Following the end of the War Game, Cain and the others moved out of the abandoned church and made the Soma Familia's base their new headquarters for the Hestia Familia.

Since the Hestia Familia didn't have many members, the Soma Familia hadn't moved out for long either; members of both Familias were now residing in the same courtyard.

Seeing Cain return now, quite a few members belonging to the Soma Familia on the path showed expressions of reverence, clearing a path for him to pass.

"Cain! You're back!"

Hestia, who was taking a stroll in the courtyard, noticed the commotion and came running over.

"Eh? Isn't that Eina!"

Upon approaching, Hestia finally noticed the familiar face following behind Cain.

A few days ago, when Cain received his blessing and established the Hestia Familia, they had gone to the Guild together.

Because of that, Hestia had interacted with Eina several times.

"Why is Eina here too?"

"Thanks to Cain, I've been promoted," Eina gave Cain a strange look and briefly explained what had happened at the Guild not long ago.

"According to the Guild Master, I am now the dedicated liaison assigned by the Guild to the Hestia Familia, to assist you with renovating the restaurant and procuring ingredients."

"I see."

Hestia suddenly understood.

She knew Cain had gone to the Guild for his level assessment and to negotiate the matter of the subordinate god.

Although Eina's situation was somewhat unexpected, having a familiar face to help was certainly a good thing.

"There are still quite a few empty rooms on the second floor. Eina, pick one later to use as your lounge."

"Thank you for your hospitality."

Eina nodded.

Due to the nature of her new job, she would need to travel back and forth between the Guild and the Hestia Familia.

Having her own room to stay in would be much more convenient for her.

"Oh, right, Cain..."

Just then, Hestia seemed to recall something and looked back towards Cain.

"Soma and I have finished the screening."

"What's the situation?"

"There are 44 people who need to be dealt with."

"That's a little less than I anticipated," Cain mused, stroking his chin.

The screening Hestia mentioned referred to the members of the Soma Familia.

After reaching an agreement with Royman to recruit Soma as a subordinate god, the Soma Familia would become affiliated with the Hestia Familia.

According to the plan prepared in advance, Cain would hold an intensive training course to teach these people knowledge related to the service industry and improve their professional conduct.

Once the Hestia Restaurant officially opened, those trained by Cain and deemed competent would be assigned to work there.

However, before starting the training course, Cain had asked Soma and Hestia to screen the Soma Familia members first.

Due to Soma's previous inaction, the quality of the Soma Familia members was mixed.

Apart from victims like Lily, and the regular members who went into the Dungeon to fight monsters and earn money,

there were also some within the Soma Familia who had resorted to extreme measures to make money, secretly harming their companions.

If failing to resist the temptation of the divine wine was a matter of insufficient willpower,

then harming companions for money was purely a character issue.

Pests like these had to be purged.

"Harming companions is a serious offense. After we expel them from the Familia later, send them over to the Guild," Cain looked at the Elf Girl beside him, "Eina, I'll leave the contact with the Guild to you."

"No problem."

Eina nodded.

For adventurers who committed such errors, the Guild would not concern itself with human rights.

Recording the matter of dealing with the Soma Familia members on the itinerary, Eina began discussing the main business.

"Cain, Goddess Hestia, are the two of you planning to design the restaurant renovations yourselves, or will you contact other Familias for help?"

"Cain, what do you think?" Hestia kicked the ball to Cain.

"Contact the Goibniu Familia," Cain thought for a moment and made his decision.

The Goibniu Familia, much like the Hephaestus Familia, was a forging Familia.

Although its fame and scale were far smaller than the Hephaestus Familia, the equipment forged by the Goibniu Familia was in no way inferior to that of the Hephaestus Familia.

Besides the Soma Familia, the Goibniu Familia also handles construction, renovation, and remodeling business. All the Adventurers within are masters of civil engineering and are extremely efficient.

Instead of wasting time on renovations, it's better to leave such matters to the professionals.

"Besides the Goibniu Familia, we also need Eina to help contact the Demeter Familia."

"If possible, I want to establish cooperation with the Demeter Familia to procure ingredients from them."

"Is there anything else?"

"Yes, let's go inside and talk slowly."

Cain led Eina toward a villa not far away.

"Eh? What about me?"

Hestia, who was slacking off, was stunned for a moment.

Watching the two gradually walk away, a look of confusion appeared on Hestia's face.

Did someone just raid her home?

...

At the same time, the Freya Familia.

Summoned by their Goddess, the high-ranking members of the Freya Familia gathered together.

"You're late!"

Allen, with his arms crossed, showed a hint of dissatisfaction as he looked at the blonde Elf who walked in last.

"I stopped by the Guild on the way back."

Hedin adjusted his glasses and turned to look at the silver-haired Goddess sitting in the deepest part of the room.

"Lady Freya, the Guild has issued a notice: Cain is Level 1."

"Oh?"

"Really?"

"That man is Level 1?"

"The Guild must have made a mistake!"

Not far away, four Dwarves, identical in both appearance and voice, exclaimed in shock.

"Level 1?"

Behind Freya, Ottar, the strongest in Orario, also cast his gaze over.

Because Freya was interested in yesterday's War Game, he had also watched the live broadcast.

The strike Cain unleashed was nothing to him.

However, from Ottar's perspective, that was definitely not a strike a Level 1 could execute.

"The news was released by Royman. He personally conducted the level assessment for Cain."

Hedin ignored his companions' shock and kept his gaze fixed on the Goddess on the throne.

"Furthermore, based on my inquiries, Cain seems to have reached an agreement with Royman."

"Royman agreed to Hestia Familia's request to recruit a subordinate deity. In exchange, the Hestia Familia will transform into a commercial Familia."

"You've worked hard, Hedin."

It seemed Freya had already anticipated this information, as her expression did not change. Instead, she changed the subject.

"What about the monster investigation results?"

"Currently, it can be confirmed that those monsters indeed possess human intelligence. As for the person smuggling those monsters... it seems to be related to the Dark Faction."

"The Dark Faction?"

Freya narrowed her eyes.

She seemed to understand why Ryuu's reaction had been so strong those few days.

"Continue the investigation. See if you can find the hideout of those Dark Faction Remnants."

"Yes!"
