Chapter 15 - 15. Blading Beyond Limits

A massive explosion of white and purple energy erupted, shaking the entire arena.

Shockwaves burst outward, slamming into the energy barrier with such force that it flickered dangerously.

The ground beneath them shattered, massive craters forming as the very foundation of the battlefield collapsed inward.

The announcer's voice cracked through the chaos.

"I— I CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE WHAT'S HAPPENING! THIS POWER—IT'S ON A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL!"

Inside the Homurakage's office, the shinobi watching the match were in disbelief.

One of the genin stammered.

"T-They're fighting like gods…!"

Even Kenshiro's usual calm expression was shaken.

"If these warriors were shinobi… they wouldn't be Jonin. They'd be something far, far beyond."

Kaizen, clenching his fists, refused to look impressed.

But he was.

Jasper, meanwhile, was grinning ear to ear.

"Now that… is Blading."

As the explosion of energy finally began to settle, the battlefield was unrecognizable.

Cracks stretched across the entire arena.

Smoke and dust swirled through the air, making it impossible to see the fighters.

The entire stadium fell silent.

Then—

The stadium shook violently, the once-solid battlefield now completely torn apart. The very ground beneath the warriors was fractured, cracked, and barely holding together.

Yet neither Dante nor Talon showed any signs of stopping.

Instead—

They pushed even further.

"No way… They're still going?!" one of the shinobi inside the Homurakage's office whispered in disbelief.

Jasper smirked.

"Now it's getting real."

Dante and Talon both let out war cries, their energy skyrocketing.

Blinding white and purple auras exploded around them, their swords trembling under the immense power.

The yellow energy barrier—which was designed to **withstand planetary-level destruction—**began to form cracks.

Inside the stadium, the audience screamed in awe and terror.

The commentator's voice shook.

"T-THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE WHAT WE'RE SEEING! THEY'RE BREAKING PAST THEIR LIMITS! WHAT KIND OF POWER IS THIS?!"

The battlefield glowed blindingly bright as the very air itself trembled under the weight of their final attacks.

Then—

It happened.

Dante's entire body radiated pure light, and above him, a colossal white dragon spirit burst into existence.

Its form was ethereal, glowing with celestial energy.

The entire stadium gasped.

"LUMINAR!!!"

Dante's voice boomed, his blade resonating with its spirit.

At the same time—

Talon's Vybron pulsed violently, its entire body erupting into pure chaotic energy.

Above him, a massive purple dragon spirit emerged, its eyes glowing with unrelenting power.

Talon roared.

"VYBRON!!!"

The dragons locked eyes, their auras colliding in an invisible clash that sent another shockwave across the battlefield.

The entire audience was on their feet, screaming.

Inside the Homurakage's office, the shinobi could barely breathe.

Even Kenshiro—who had been composed the entire time—was now watching with wide, astonished eyes.

"T-Those… Those aren't jutsu… Those are the spirits of their swords."

Homurakage nodded slowly, rubbing his beard in deep thought.

"They are not summoning these beings… They are wielding them."

Kaizen clenched his fists.

"Impossible…!"

Jasper grinned, leaning forward.

"This is why we call them Bladers, not just swordsmen."

Dante lifted Luminar high, his white dragon spirit roaring above him.

"FINAL ATTACK—"

Talon grinned wildly, his purple aura forming a vortex around his body.

"FINAL ATTACK—"

Both screamed at the same time.

"LUMINAR TEMPEST FURY!!!"

"VYBRON ABYSS COIL!!!"

The entire stadium detonated with pure power.

Luminar's white energy twisted into a raging storm, its dragon spirit coiling around Dante, launching him forward like a divine spear.

Vybron's purple energy collapsed into a swirling abyss, its dragon spirit surrounding Talon like an unstoppable force of destruction.

The two warriors lunged at each other, their swords colliding with unimaginable force.

The yellow barrier cracked violently, splintering like glass.

The explosion was so intense that—

No one could see anything.

The audience.

The commentators.

The shinobi watching the hologram.

Everything was blinding light and deafening sound.

Then—

A loud CLANG.

Something fell to the ground.

As the light faded, the battlefield was revealed—

A wasteland of destruction.

The once-pristine arena was reduced to rubble, deep craters marking the ground where the two warriors had clashed.

Talon stood in the center, his body shaking, Vybron still clutched in his hands.

Dante, on the other hand—

Was on one knee, panting heavily.

And his sword—

Had burst from its hilt.

The announcer's voice cracked with emotion.

"D-DANTE NIGHTSHADE'S BLADE HAS DETACHED! HE CAN NO LONGER CONTINUE! TALON DARKOS… WINS!!!"

The stadium erupted in cheers and screams, the sheer intensity of the battle leaving everyone breathless.

Inside the Homurakage's office, no one spoke.

Kenshiro, still in shock, muttered, "He… He lost because his sword detached?"

Jasper nodded.

"That's how Blading works. It's not just about who's stronger. If your sword can't handle the pressure and bursts from the hilt, you lose."

Kaizen gritted his teeth.

"That's ridiculous."

Jasper smirked.

"No. That's discipline."

Homurakage chuckled, shaking his head.

"Fascinating. Truly fascinating."

Despite losing, Dante wasn't sad.

Instead—

He smiled.

As he stood up, dusting himself off, he walked over to Talon and extended his hand.

Talon looked at it for a moment, then grinned and shook it.

The crowd cheered even louder, appreciating the sportsmanship between two legends.

Dante lifted his head toward the sky.

"I lost this time… But next time, I'll surpass even this."

His eyes burned with new determination.

Jasper watched the screen, smiling slightly.

"That's what makes him dangerous."

Kenshiro crossed his arms.

"He lost… but he's not broken."

Homurakage nodded.

"A true warrior learns more from defeat than from victory."

Jasper leaned back, stretching.

"Exactly."

The hologram flickered off, leaving the room in silence.

For a moment, everyone simply sat in awe at what they had just witnessed.

Then—

Kaizen stood up abruptly.

His dark eyes locked onto Jasper.

"Fight me."

The room went completely silent.

Jasper, still relaxed, glanced up at him lazily.

"Huh?"

Kaizen's expression was dead serious.

"You're a Blader, right? Then let's see if you're actually strong or if this was all just a flashy performance."

Jasper smirked.

"Oh? You sure about that, emo boy?"

Kaizen narrowed his eyes.

"Prove to me that this 'Blading' of yours isn't just some ridiculous show."

Jasper stretched his arms, cracking his knuckles.

"Well, well. Looks like someone's finally interested."

He slowly stood up, grabbing Dragonis from his back.

"Alright, Kurogami. You wanna see what I can do? Let's dance."

The room filled with tension.

Another battle was about to begin—

This time, inside the Land of Blaze.
