Jisoo pushed the door open and stepped out, stretching slightly as she walked down the hall, one hand still resting on her stomach.
"Food… I need food right now," she muttered, completely focused.
She followed the faint scent of cooked meat and herbs drifting through the air until she finally reached the kitchen area.
But the moment she stepped in— She paused. The maid from earlier—the one who had been chasing after that arrogant woman—was standing there.
Their eyes met. Silence. Jisoo blinked once.
"…Oh. It's you," she said casually, like they had just met at a grocery store.
The maid straightened immediately, her expression stiff, clearly remembering everything that had just happened.
"…Human," she said, her tone slightly cold but controlled. "You shouldn't be wandering around like this."
Jisoo raised an eyebrow. "I shouldn't be wandering?" she repeated. "I just woke up from a one-week coma. I think wandering is the least of my problems right now."
