Jisoo wiped the sweat from her brow, still standing over the fallen beast. Her chest heaved, but she refused to show fear. The four Beast Lords approached slowly, each exuding a presence that could crush anyone foolish enough to challenge them.
Kael Draven, the South Beast Lord, stepped first. His eyes, cold and calculating, scanned her from head to toe. "I must admit… you're far stronger than I anticipated," he said, his tone calm but layered with menace. "Most humans crumble at the first sign of danger. Yet here you stand."
Jisoo met his gaze head-on, smirking. "Well… lucky for me, I'm not most humans."
Ragnar Voss, the North Beast Lord, chuckled low in his throat, the sound vibrating the ground beneath them. "Bold… and reckless. That beast could have torn you apart." He took a step closer, letting the power in his stance loom over her. "Do you always provoke death just to show off?"
