...
Thorkell felt no surprise by Arthur's word's, he even thought the boy was just like his father, after hearing him talk about such things.
[That's the whole reason, me and my brother have always followed behind him, if we lose his brat, we might go down a road of wanting die after causing chaos, but knowing Thors, he'd probably just fake his death and live out his remaining life as an old man.]
"Snow's!, coming in hard!, we need to find a shelter!", Thors roared loudly due to their ears being hit by the strong wind.
In the distance behind them, a pair of bright green eyes was watching them move through the snow.
Some time later, they managed to find a place to settle down in for the night, it was a ridge of dirt spiking upward, "I'll set up the cover's, you guy's focus on the snow, Arthur, you stand guard".
"Mm", while they set up their covering for the night, Arthur spotted the one who had secretly followed behind them, though he didn't say anything, his eyebrows couldn't help but fidget, Hela was keeping her distance, most likely waiting to watch something interesting.
"We're finished, Arthur, you and the other's get some sleep, me and Thorkell will keep watch till morn", the group didn't complain, they just went to sleep.
The next morning, the snow had settled down a lot, making it easier to walk in.
Every step felt like their feet were freezing, but Arthur was different, his body was adapting to the cold at a rather fast speed, his pale face was already beginning to look like the weather had no effect on him.
"I'll climb that ridge, you guy's stay down here, let me scout out the Raven clans situation from there", Arthur was looking at giant hill, he turned around awaiting for a response and he got it.
"Go on, we'll wait here", Ragar nodded for the other's letting out his own sentiment.
Watching Arthur walking away without waiting for any concerned voices, Thors just shook his head.
"The boys grown taller again, he's already reaching my height", Thorkell almost laughed at Thors's worry, but seeing that he was right, he just closed his eyes.
Arthur kept climbing up the hill until he reached the top, he pulled out a singular binocular, seeing the smoke still coming from the small village, he just sighed to himself.
"Don't worry, your souls will be avenged for this", he kept surveying the place, but he found no movement's, so he gave up and went back down the hill.
As he made his way down, he slipped on an ice sculpture poking out of the ground, "shit!", he was expecting to feel pain incoming, but when he opened his eyes, he saw he was in a cave.
Ice sculptures and the place he fell through, where the ice smashed open, only a small light was seen shining through it.
He slowly stood up and took a look at the sculptures, but what he saw was anything but what he was expecting it to be.
Shaking the firefly lantern he had on him, he aimed it right in front of the sculptures face behind the ice, what he saw was a giant eye, bigger than his body.
"Fuck!, what type of shit is this..", taking a step back he seeing it's face, then it's entire body, "four limbs, three heads, by Odinson's eye, is that a dragon, it's fucking huge".
After staring at the creature with pure astonishment, he gave up on staying any longer, just as he turned his head, he saw three giant eggs, glowing slightly.
Not far from them, was a man kneeling before the eggs, in a full set of red armor, "son of the dragon, you finally came".
"Oh no, I think you got the wrong person, I simply fell..".
"enough!, my name is Aegon Targaryen, the first his name and the conquerer of Westeros, I came here as soon I saw you in my prophecy.., son, I don't have long, my magic is already vanishing, I made sure to save as much as I could for when you appeared before me".
Arthur looked around as if he was preparing to flee, he didn't want this old man to start talking about what he was destined for or whatnot.
The old man slowly stood, even making his way towards Arthur, "I want you to take these eggs, protect them, bring them back with you, let them grow and one day, they will be your most trusted allies".
"You're not gonna ask me to start some revelation or become a conquerer like yourself right".
"No, your destiny has always been much more than those ordinary men and their scheme's, I made sure I left a doppel before I left, no one can trace my whereabouts, not even the weirwood sears..".
He finally stood before Arthur, his back hunching even more as he started rapidly aging.
"And you're the same, protected by the true God's of this world, Odin will not allow the sears to peer into his followers lives, not with his own magic, I by chance came into contact with that God, he gave me dragon's and a place to wage war..".
He placed his hand on Arthur's shoulder his eyes glowing even more purple, "after I succeeded, he gave me a destination, a place to wait for his family to arrive before me, I give you these eggs as a thank you, a thank you for letting me see the wonders of this world".
Arthur looked behind the old man, "before you start crumbling to dust, how am I gonna carry them out, they're at least half my size, each and every one of them".
"Hehehe, that'll be easier than you think, right Lady Hela, I'm ready, take my soul to the afterlife, I've fulfilled the deal, I'm ready".
Arthur spun around and saw Hela walking out of the shadows, "indeed you have, Arthur go back, I have to take this wondering soul with me and don't worry, I'll take those eggs to your home".
"Wait!, I have one more thing to do, before I pass away", Aegon eyes glowed with ferocity, he took one last step towards Arthur and began to speak with uneven words.
Arthur had no idea what the guy was saying, until he stated to gradually understand them, "may you be blessed by the dragon and carry his flame to pass on to your descendants".
That's all he heard before the purple flow in Aegon's eyes dimmed, "what the hell, guhhh", Arthur held his eyes in great pain, falling to his knees, he almost let out a piercing scream.
Gritting his teeth, awaiting for the pain to disappear, was like waiting for one's food to be delivered when oneself is starving.
When the pain receded, he looked around, he only saw a set of armour on the floor, with dust settled inside it.
Turning towards the eggs, he also found them gone too, "what the hell did that old man do to me".
He had no idea that his eyes were now purple, glowing faintly in the dark cave, he didn't even notice how he could clearly see in the dark either, he just thought his eyesight was adapting to the dark.
"Whatever, I'll just treat this as if it was a mere dream..", he couldn't help but turn to gaze at the giant dragon molded into the ice, "yeah, it's just a dream".
Climbing out of the collapsed pit he fell through, he went back down to his group, making sure he didn't slip on any ice this time.
When the group saw Arthur, they felt an instinctive fear, they saw his eyes glowing purple, "Arthur, what's wrong with you, your eyes".
Arthur held them and shook his head, "it's nothing, let's go to Raven clan, there's no one around outside, but I'm sure there has to be some clansmen remaining, they're probably just hiding".
The group all looked at eachother and they finally sighed, "let's go, if there any injured, we can't stay idle, any longer".
The group made their way to the Raven clan and upon entering the small village, they saw bodies piled up on a recent fire pit.
"Bastards, even the children!", Ragnar finally couldn't help himself after seeing the scene before him and he roared loudly.
Arthur almost threw up, he turned away and looked elsewhere, "let's split up, we'll check each lodging, we each have five minutes, no more than that, if you find no one, come back to this very spot".
Thors spoke and left, soon after the group split into different groups, they found nothing, no hidden rooms or hiding under floors, nothing.
When they came back, they could only relent, "it seems we haven't any survivors".

The group looked up and saw a Raven landing before them, "a trained Raven, take us to your master".
Sigurd spoke and even pulled out a some food, the Raven turned it's head, staring at the food in Sigurd's hand, it flew up and pecked at the food.
Watching the Raven take off with the food, they started following it, "let's hope, it isn't a Wolf Raven".
Ragar spoke solemnly and this made the group even more on guard, soon the weather started picking up again, causing the group and the Raven, to get inside a nearby cave for shelter.
"Looks like we'll have to wait it out again, we're not far from the Wolf clan, at most we're a couple miles out", everyone stared at the Raven with a frown.
Only Arthur, for some reason trusted the small guy, "your master must be in trouble, you guy's stay here, I'll check it out with this guy".
"What, no..", "it's fine, I'll be back in 20 minutes, if I'm not back at that time, then I'll most likely be held back for a while longer, I won't be in any danger".
Picking up the Raven and sticking it within his clothes, he spoke to the little guy, "caw me, when we're close to your master".
'Caw'
