Chapter 11 - CHAPTER 11 — AFTER THE NIGHT

SERAPHINE

The morning sun slanted through the curtains, dust motes dancing lazily in the light. I lay sprawled across the sheets, tangled in blankets, skin still flushed from the previous night.

Every nerve in my body was still alive, still remembering Azrael's hands, lips, and the intensity of his obsession.

But I was in pain ,because of how brutal he was with me, going on and on till the next day.

I shifted slightly, trying to collect myself, but my chest tightened.

I could still feel the weight of him behind me, the lingering heat, the echo of his words: "You belong to me"

They way he repeated it , as a reminder for the rest of my life

I groaned!

Azrael, sprawled lazily beside mr, eyes half-lidded, smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth, watched me like a predator savoring his prize. "You're staring again," he murmured, voice low, teasing but dangerous..

"Don't think you can hide what you're feeling."

My cheeks flushed.

I tried to look away, but his gaze pinned me.

The possessiveness radiating from him was intoxicating, almost suffocating, and yet… I couldn't resist.

"You slept well?" he asked, voice deceptively soft, though every word carried the weight of control.

"I… I think so," I murmured, swallowing hard, trying to maintain composure while heat still coursed through my veins.

Azrael's hand traced down my arm lazily, marking, reminding me he had been still was every part of me. "Good," he said.

"Because last night… you'll remember it.

I shivered, both from the memory and the low, dangerous thrill of his words. Even after the heat and the chaos of the night, the tension between us remained electric, dark, and intoxicating.

We didn't need to speak further. The silence between us held more meaning than words ever could a silent agreement of obsession, of possession, of a bond forged in fire.

Outside, the world continued, oblivious. But in that room, time seemed to bend around them, the fire of last night lingering like smoke, twisting, curling, refusing to die.

And I knew no matter what happened next, no matter who tried to interfere, Azrael would never let me go.
