Chapter 5 - Sim Lan Ci

Now a fierce but one-sided fight ensued between Liu Bhok Ki and Coa Siang Lee. It was exciting because the young man continued to attack desperately, but all his attacks failed, and wherever the light from his pair of swords struck, they always met the ends of his belt and were bounced back. The fight was a desperate battle among the thirteen scattered corpses.

"Coa Siang Lee, come on. There's no point in being reckless. You're still young, it would be a shame to die a foolish death. Don't you want to stop this insane feud? Go home and you can... take your father's head with you."

Liu Bhok Ki's words were truly remarkable. Usually he is very stubborn, want "torturing" the head of the person who committed adultery with his wife during his time still alive. But now he clearly controls the youth it would easily be able to knock him down, suddenly offered peace and allowed the young man took away his father's head.

"Liu Bhok Ki, you don't need to say much today, you or I'm the one who died!" Coa Siang Lee urged with a pair of words his sword.

This young man was indeed skilled, and the art of that pair of swords was extremely dangerous. Now that Black Tiger Clan's disiples were no longer around, he could unleash all his energy and skill, and Liu Bhok Ki realized that this young man was indeed quite formidable.

He spun his belt, and the fight became even more intense. Liu Bhok Ki, of course, was not to be taken advantage of by the fierce swords and began to counterattack with his own attacks. Although he was able to pressure the young man, the tall, burly warrior understood that refusing to accept his offer of peace would require more time and effort.

At that moment, a loud shout was heard, "Liu Bhok Ki is indeed a cowardly and evil man!" As soon as the shouting stopped, a whizzing sound was heard, and three small lights flashed and struck Liu Bhok Ki.

These were three secret weapons: red-garliced dart containing poison. Liu Bhok Ki let out a loud shout and twirled his belt to protect himself. The three dart were struck and thrown far away, and Liu Bhok Ki jumped far back.

"Hold your weapon!" he shouted, his voice filled with such powerful internal chi power that Coa Siang Lee and the newly emerged lady stopped and stared at him with hatred in their eyes. When he saw the lady who had just appeared and attacked him with the secret weapon, Liu Bhok Ki almost let out a cry of surprise. He saw the face of his deceased wife.

The lady looked exactly like his wife. An oval face with rosy white skin, long, fine black hair, eyes that sparkled like a pair of morning stars, and a mouth with moist, defiant red lips.

"You... who are you...?" he finally managed to utter a slightly trembling voice.

"Actually, it's not appropriate for someone like you to know my name, Liu Bhok Ki!" the lady said, and Liu Bhok Ki stared in astonishment.

Her voice also sounded exactly like his wife's.

"But so you don't die of curiosity, know that my name is Sim Lan Ci, and I've come to kill you!"

"But... but..." The usually calm and steadfast warrior's voice was still stuttering, his heart still reeling from the shock of seeing his wife seemingly come back to life.

Moreover, the lady was now standing near Coa Siang Lee, as if he saw his wife standing side by side with Coa Kun Tian, together about to confront and kill him.

Kun Tian's head was still hanging there, and the large bottle was still on the table!

"Why do you want to kill me, and you... whose daughter are you?" He shuddered at the thought that the girl, like Siang Lee who claimed to be Kun Tian's son, would also claim to be the daughter of Hui Cu, his wife.

But no, the lady didn't, and that was also impossible. His wife was still a virgin when she married him, and she died young, leaving no children, as Kun Tian had.

"Open your ears, Liu Bhok Ki. I want to kill you to avenge the death of my aunt Phang Hui Cu, whom you not only brutally murdered, but also put her head in a large jar and soaked in wine to make your drink. I truly cannot allow this to happen!"

Liu Bhok Ki furrowed his brows. He remembered that his wife, Phang Hui Cu, had an older sister named Phang Bi Cu. According to his wife's story, she had been kidnapped as a child and had never been heard from. Was that lady Phang Bi Cu's daughter? If his wife's older sister resembled his wife, it was not impossible that her niece's face would be exactly like her aunt.

"You're... the daughter of... Phang Bi Cu...?" he asked, still uncertain and influenced by the lady's face, which looked exactly like his wife's.

The lady smiled mockingly, "It seems you haven't lost your memory! That's right, I'm her only daughter. I heard about what you did to my late aunt Phang Hui Cu, so I came to take your life and ask for your head so I can have a proper burial."

"No!" Liu Bhok Ki's stubbornness suddenly returned as he remembered the actions of his wife and Coa Kun Tian. These two young people in front of him, who looked exactly like his wife and her lover, reminded him of everything that had happened over the past twenty years, and brought on his anger and stubbornness.

"Those two deserve to be punished as long as I live. They've ruined my life, ruined my happiness!"

"Then die!" This shout was followed by a flash of black light, in addition to being fast and powerful, also carried a fishy odor, indicating that the sword, which was black, like the secret weapon, contained a dangerous poison. The sword made a twisting motion, flashed, and suddenly stabbed at Liu Bhok Ki's face. As soon as the warrior dodged to the left, the sword that had missed his face also flashed to the left and slashed at his neck.

The lady, dressed all in black, moved so quickly, and the fishy odor from her sword made her opponent feel nauseous and dizzy. However, Liu Bhok Ki, aware of the danger of the black sword, quickly deployed his internal chi to block the fishy smell. Seeing the sword coming, he moved the end of his belt in his left hand to block and wrap it around himself so he could snatch the sword.

However, the lady proved to be extremely skilled. As soon as her sword was attached to the belt, before the belt became tangled, she had already drawn it back, twisted her body, and made a long, sweeping motion toward her opponent's legs.

"Hmmm!" Liu Bhok Ki leaped upwards, and from above, the end of his belt swooped toward the lady's head. The lady, named Sim Lan Ci, was able to dodge with a swift movement, and by that time, Coa Siang Lee had already lunged forward and attacked with the pair swords in both hands.

Now Liu Bhok Ki was being attacked by two side, and the warriors realized how powerful this young pair truly was. The lady's skill was not even inferior to Coa Kun Tian's son, and especially her sword and left-handed strikes, they were incredibly dangerous. Liu Bhok Ki knew that Lan Ci, in addition to possessing poisonous weapons, was also skilled in using poisoned blows.
