The game began after the two teams were teleported to the field, a zone that seemed to be split between a high tech futuristic area and a more savage jungle like area
"As I am sure everyone knows, our two competitors are known to not fight themselves but use familiars and robots to battle in there place, as such we organised the field to reflect such fighting styles" the announcer proclaimed
"So, who do you think is going to win?" Blaze asked Rias as both teams started planning during the preparation time
"I would say that Seekvaira has a better chance" Rias answered "she has a larger amount of demonic power, and even if she is unable to fully use her robots to take out Aremic she still can fall back on her time based bloodline abilities"
"I wouldn't count Aremic out" Xenovia chimed in "his familiars seem very strong"
"They also seem to be focused on dealing with machines" Koneko continued "the species that he is using seem to be made up of creatures that are able to spit out acid that is able to melt through metal, others with loud roars that will disrupt the controllers magic control and others that have enough brute force to be able to withstand any attacks that Seekvaira-sama might use and then be able to rip apart her robots"
"But it equally seems that Seekvaira-sama has prepared for such a situation" Kiba noted "look at the amount of materials that she has brought out in preparation, so long as the core of her robots are not destroyed she will be able to fix them over and over again so long as he team has the magical or mechanical ability, on the other hand Aremic-sama's creatures will get tired much faster in comparison, I feel like this match will come down to whether Aremic-sama can break through Seekvaira-sama's defences or whether she is able to withstand his onslaught"
"So I'm willing to bet that the odds are showing that they are pretty even in terms of who will come out on top?" Blaze commented
"Having a look online it seems like Seekvaira-sama has slightly higher odds" Akeno informed the group "but not by much, it is around 56 for Seekvaira-sama winning and 44 for Aremic-sama winning based on Seekvaira-sama's bloodline ability and higher demonic power amount, but in a rating game things are rarely as simple as just the person with the higher power winning"
"The I suppose the only way to know for sure who will win is to watch and find out" Caspera said while drinking a cup of tea
"I guess so" Blaze shrugged "oh, it looks like the planning time is coming to an end and the rating game is going to properly start" she pointed out
As the battle began both sides adopted a similar strategy, sending out smaller units, whether they were small bugs or gunpla models each side began by gathering information about the terrain around them
"It seems like both teams are being cautious" proclaimed the announcer "Seekvaira-sama has sent out a small army of robots to gather information with their eyes seemingly connected to a main computer that they have set up in their base so that her whole peerage is able to see what they see and hear what they hear, this does mean that they will have limited information but that they all will be working off of the same information" gesturing to one side of the screen showing Seekvaira's base
"On the other side we have Aremic-sama's peerage that is using small creatures and bugs to check the terrain while using a magic that Aremic-sama seems to have created that allows him to share the senses of the creatures, this will allow him to gather more information, but due to each person only being able to know what the creature they are controlling they might not be able to create as big a whole image and each will only have a portion of the information, because of this they will have to inform the rest of their team about what they found through communication which could lead to important details being missed" gesturing to Aremic's base on the other side of the screen
"Each method has its good and bad points and only time will tell which method will work out better in this rating game, and that is what makes these games so exciting" he exclaimed, riling up the crowd
It wasn't long before the units on both sides ended up finding each other, causing the first small scale skirmish to take place, the gunpla taking out small swords and slashing at the insects
"The first battle has begun, Seekvaira-sama's units seem to have the upper hand at the moment due to being able to fight back with greater ease compared to the insects and if they are able to hit the ones which are linked to Aremic's peerage it could cause some pretty bad feedback damage to the controller whereas even if the bugs are able to take out one of the gunpla, more could easily be made, however that is only if the gunpla are able to find the few bugs that are actually been controlled in this swarm" proclaimed the announcer
"Units 2, 4 and 9, use your flame throwers to burn as many of the bugs as possible, units 3, 5 and 6 perform a random barrage of bullets, units 1, 7 and 8 take distance and keep and eye out from abnormal movements that could indicate which bugs are being controlled" Seekvaira commanded
"Yes ma'am" responded her peerage, following her orders like a well oiled machine
"Start retreating as a group" ordered Aremic "spread out the swarm as much as possible in order to reduce casualties and return to base, we don't want anyone to take damage this early into the battle"
"Understood sir" responded his team, showing that they were used to his orders due to their work in the labs
"It seems that Seekvaira-sama has come out on top this time" shouted the announcer, causing cheers to erupt from her fans "but the game has only just begun and a small skirmish like this could mean nothing, but equally the information gathered could end up being critical, which will it be? who will win in the end,? nobody knows and that is why we can only keep our eyes glued to this battle to find out what happens next."
