The woman laughed, too.
She pulled a car out of her dimensional space. "A bunch of idiots. Did they really think we were going to take them out to find water and supplies?"
"I know, right? I can't believe them, nagging us every single day.
Director Palmer must have had no other choice but to let us come out and ditch them,"
the man grumbled in dissatisfaction.
"I just wonder where Lily and the others went."
The woman peeked her head out and looked around before getting in the car.
"Who cares about them? It took a lot of effort for me to get assigned to the same team as you today. How about we find a deserted spot up ahead and spend the day there?"
The man suddenly hugged her from behind.
"Samuel Valentine, so you're the one who deliberately ditched Lily and the others."
The woman didn't push him away, just laughed with feigned anger.
'No wonder when the zombies appeared just now, that guy Valentine kept pulling me in this direction.'
