After several rounds of attacks, the zombie python only grew fiercer with each injury.
One of its grayish-white eyes was already scorched black. It opened its massive maw, wide enough to swallow two people, and tried to devour Nina Jacobs whole.

Once that was done, she grabbed the still-dazed Shirley Lucas and sprinted backward!
