A pound of gold could be exchanged for 100 points, and 100 points could get you two cups of instant noodles.
"There's nothing to be done. Gold is as useless as money these days."
Shirley Lucas also felt this exchange rate was a bit of a rip-off.
But regardless, many people still took the gold jewelry and Gold Bars they found to exchange for park points.
She took out a plate of sunflower seeds from somewhere and handed a handful to Nina Jacobs.
"Where's the Goldsmith's Shop?"
