"Duke, I'm ordering you to release him," Matt instructed.
"He would get us into trouble," Duke replied.
"Sergeant is out now, I am now the highest ranking officer and I'm ordering you to let him go," Matt explained.
"Yes sir," Duke started to undo Nathan's restraints.
"Thanks," Nathan said to Matt.
They all got into a golf cart parked outside.
"Where should I drop you off?" Matt asked as they cruised down meandering roads.
Before he could answer he saw Claire.
"Let me down here," Nathan tried to get down even before the vehicle came to a stop.
"Where have you been?" Claire asked and Nathan turned to see Matt and Duke staring.
"Took a walk and got lost, luckily I ran into them and they gave me a ride," Nathan explained.
"I have been looking for you for hours," Claire mentioned.
Nathan got in her cart and they made their way to her lab.
There, a woman was waiting for her. Unlike the other scientists, she looked out of place. Black leather jacket, black lips, and a pierced septum.
"Iris, what are you doing here?" Claire asked with a frown.
"Calm down, I just came to warn you. Mum is in town asking about us," Iris explained.
"Has she seen you?" Claire asked.
"No, and I plan to keep it like that. I'm leaving town, I suggest you do the same," Iris said then walked away. As she left Nathan checked her out.
"Don't even think about it," Claire said to Nathan.
"I would have never guessed you were sisters," Nathan said as he watched Iris leave.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Claire frowned.
"I…just mean you guys look nothing alike," Nathan stammered.
"I said we were sisters not twins," Claire clarified.
"What are you doing?" Nathan asked as he watched Claire pour potions down a drain.
"I have to leave," She said as she continued packing.
"Because your mother is in town?" Nathan asked and chuckled.
"You won't know why until you have met my mother," Claire said.
"You are what, 26…27, and you are scared of your mother?" Nathan stared in confusion.
"When you see Miss Sullivan, tell her my mum is in town," she relayed to Nathan and he nodded.
Claire walked out and disappeared as the doors closed behind her. Minutes later Jane walked in.
"Where is Claire?" she asked.
"She said to tell you her mother is in town," Nathan said shaking his head.
"She is not in town she is here," Jane said and pulled out her phone.
The dial tone hummed in the background.
"No one is answering," Jane said and walked out. She then walked back inside.
"Wait are you waiting for, you are driving," she said and Nathan followed her out. They got in a golf cart and Nathan drove as fast as the cart could go.
When they got to the main entrance a couple of the guards were on the ground and the rest had their guns pointed at a middle-aged lady.
"Everyone stand down," Jane yelled. The guards put away their guns and the woman walked over to Claire and hugged her.
"Mum," Claire said as she hugged him.
"Where is Iris?" she asked as she squeezed Claire tightly between her arms.
"Maryann," Jane said.
"Baba Yaga," Maryann replied.
"You killed my men and you call me baba yaga?" Jane snapped back.
"They fired at me first," Maryann replied.
