Kiefer's POV:
The moment Jay's words left her mouth, I felt my heart drop. Ok, maybe that was a bit dramatic, but it felt like that. What do you mean no cuddles, no kisses, including profanities and no soft touches??!! She might as well stop me from breathing!!! Yuri's punishment isn't as hard as mine!! At least Jane can initiate!!! In my punishment neither of us can initiate romance!!!! What should I do now?? I feel like a kicked puppy!!! It is all those girls fault!!! From now on I will wear a whole hazmat suit, a mask and they will have an integrated system, which will warn me, if there are any girls!! The Corona Virus isn't even as dangerous!!! Now, I have to make the punishment shorter. The best would be no punishment, but knowing her stubbornness that won't happen till the existence of dinosaurs is proven!! Now, how to do that?? I was thinking about the solution, when Section E and F4 came over to us.
Felix: What happened? Why do Yuri and Kiefer look like kicked puppies????
Ci-n: Yeah!! What happened?
Yuri (muttered): Don't talk about it
Blaster: Does anybody know what happened?
Josh (completely unbothered): One girl came up to Yuri and 4 girls came up to Kiefer and flirted with them, so Jay and Jane got jealous. They planned the punishment, because they let them get jealous and didn't move out of the girls' way in time, so now they have to face the punishment.
Edrix: .... HOW DOES HE KNOW THAT????
Josh: ...
Kanning: WAIT... HE TALKS????
Denzel: Bro is better than private investigators!!!
Drew: Bro is a spy!!!
Mayo: CAN SOMBODY TALK ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE SPOKE THRICE IN THESE 2 MONTHS???!!!!!

Yuri (murmured): I feel violated
Kiefer (muttered): Same, this should be illegal
Jane: ENOUGH!!!
Everybody quieted down... for 3 seconds, when they erupted into teasing. They teased them about being jealous for like 5 minutes, which felt like years.
Thyme: ENOUGH!! THE RESULTS ARE COMING IN 20 MINUTES!! Let's enjoy the festival!!
Everybody cheered, but I wasn't excited at all. I can't do anything!! If I go with Jay, I will definitely have the urge to hold her hand or waist. Then she will delay the punishment for 2 more days. Jay went with Jane and Yuri and I followed them. She didn't say anything about spending time with her. So, I followed her closely behind, but not walking beside her, because the sudden urge to touch her hand would stir in my chest and Yuri just followed my lead. So, now we seem like bodyguards!! Wait!!!! She didn't say anything about a date!!!! What if my creativity will melt her heart and she will shorten the punishment time??? I can give her gifts in school to melt her heart!!!! Mama always used to say

Good thing Mama always spent time explaining me deep things. I might have not understood those things when I was little, but I always listened carefully. She always made me write things down that were important. I had a little notepad, in which I used to write in with my crackly handwriting, but I still understood my writing. I still have it as a memory of Mama... I know exactly what to do! Starting from tomorrow, I will make her happy again.
Jay sighed and said in an annoyed tone, even though I knew she wasn't: Why are you following us?
Kiefer: You said no touching; you didn't say anything about walking behind you
Jay shook her head, clearly hiding her smile and started walking ahead. Jane and Jay went to many stalls, when two boys came up to them and started flirting with them. Jay and Jane looked visibly uncomfortable and my stomach churned. My blood was boiling, my jaw clenching along with my fist. Even though they looked uncomfortable, they politely asked them to stop several times. Why are they asking politely??? It's clearly not working! Why isn't she asking me for help??? Wait, was this what Jay was feeling?? Ok, now I know why I got that punishment. I looked at Yuri and he was clearly burning with the worst kind of rage: jealousy
Yuri looked at me and we had a quiet understanding. Benefits of having a best friend since childhood is, that you have a kind of Bluetooth connection between your minds. We nodded and we stepped beside them, careful not to touch them. They would definitely elongate the punishment if we did, so we stepped beside them and I asked
Kiefer (glaring at them and voice cold): Is there a problem?
The guy flirting with Jay (completely oblivious to the voice, Kiefer was giving): No, there is no problem
Kiefer (cold): You sure, because the girl looks uncomfortable
The guy snapped: It is none of your business!
Kiefer: It is, when you are flirting with my wife!!!!
Jay was blushing and looked up at me with that silent pleading look, when she wanted to get out of this situation. I gave her a reassuring glance saying that everything will be fine.
The guy: As if you are her husband! You are not even handsome!!
Before, I could say anything, Jay defended me
Jay: Watch what you are saying to my husband!!!
The guy: So, that ugly boy is your husband? Darling, just give him a divorce and come with me
Jay: Never! Not even if you are the only guy in this entire universe!!!
The guy: You are making me angry. You won't like me when I am angry
Kiefer: We don't like you anyway!
The guy: Ok, that's it!
He tried taking Jay's hand, but his hand didn't even touch Jay's sleeve, because I punched him in the face, before he could do anything.
Kiefer: That is for thinking that you own my wife!
I punched and kicked him.
Kiefer: That is for flirting with my wife!
I punched him in the face and kicked him in the leg
Kiefer: That is for trying to touch her!
I grabbed the collar of the body beneath me and said in a low growl: If I even see you breathing near my wife, I will not be this merciful!
I threw him on the floor and gave Jay a glance, telling her that we should leave this area. Jay nodded and she came as near as physically possible without touching. I looked at Yuri and his chest was heaving and I saw the guy, who was flirting with Jane, on the floor all bloodied. I nodded at him, signalling him to leave this area with Jane. He nodded at me, when Jane hugged Yuri and Yuri of course hugged her back. She was probably terrified. I was happy for them, but I was also feeling envy, but I shoved it down. No!! Mama is right, Love isn't only physical touch!
Jay's POV:
Kiefer just protected me, without even touching me once. I feel guilty... Should I shorten the punishment? Maybe I could shorten it by a few days. Wait!! I found a loophole in my own statement!!! I said that: No kisses, no cuddles, no soft touches and also no profanities for 5 days
But that doesn't mean I can't touch him! I can hug him, but he can't hug me back!!! Jay, you are a genius!!! The difference between my punishment and Jane's is that Yuri can touch her, if jane initiates. Kiefer cannot touch me at all. I saw Jane hugging Yuri and I could feel the longing in his eyes for a hug. So, I went to him and hugged him.
Jay (whispered in his ear): I said no kisses, no cuddles, no soft touches and also no profanities for 5 days, but that doesn't mean I can't touch you! I can hug you, but you can't hug me back
Kiefer let out an exhale, which suspiciously sounded like a laugh of relief. He put his arms around me and put his head as near as possible to my waist and head without touching me.
Jay (muttered): Thank you, Kief
Kiefer: You're welcome, Jay. I am sorry, that I made you insecure and that you thought I didn't want your help. I just didn't want to be a burden and it was my problem. You were already in a fight today.
I sighed and was guilty after hearing his apology. I cupped his face with my hands
Jay: Kief, you can never be a burden and what is your problem is our problem. We solve things together. No matter how many fights we have been in, you will never be a burden to me! Understand??
Kiefer nodded.
Jay: But don't think your punishment is over. Your punishment is shortened by a day though.
Kiefer's eyes lit up and he nodded.
Jay: Ok, now let's go. The results are about to come
I pulled out of the hug and we walked beside each other without touching each other, but we didn't need touch to prove our love. We just know we will always come back to each other and maybe that's the best kind of love, you could ever find.

I am sorry for posting late!! It just took me longer to write this chapter, because I had to sound poetic, but not too poetic and I also wrote about 1600 words, but I did it!!! And it also took long, because I am packing my suitcase for London🥲 As, I told you a few weeks ago, I will be in London from the 1st of July until 7th of July, so I won't be able to post any chapters there😢 I promise to post from 8th of July onwards🤞 And also sorry for dragging this festival day so long, but I got a lot of ideas and I didn't want to rush anything. But I will most probably end the festival day in the next chapter. So, the next chapter will most probably be about Yuri fighting guy, who flirted with Jane, while Kiefer was fighting for Jay and also about the results! And don't worry Yufer will be just fine!
