Hongyun's face bore a sincere smile. The pillar of Karma light descending from the sky was simply too shocking. In the Great Desolation, who wouldn't yearn for it?
Zhenyuanzi was more composed, bowing as he said, "Fellow Daoist Wu Ming, the Wu Race has made a grand vow, taking on the responsibility of sorting out Evil Qi and stabilizing the earth veins. This is a great righteous act, and this poor Daoist admires it."
"You two Fellow Daoists flatter me," Wu Ming nodded slightly, motioning for the two to enter the hall for a detailed discussion. "It's merely following the natural order of things, to find a path forward for my Wu Race."

Hongyun took over the conversation, his tone a bit faster, "Hey, Fellow Daoist Zhenyuanzi, you just talk too circuitously! It's already chaotic outside now! To snatch treasures, people fight and kill every day, blood flowing like rivers!"
"A few days ago, two Fellow Daoists over in the East Sea fought earth-shshattering battles over an Innate Spirit Treasure, and in the end, both were injured. Tell me, what was the point?"
"And then there's Dijun and Taiyi. Those two have been recruiting soldiers and buying horses everywhere recently, contacting various living beings. I think they're probably planning a big move too. That posture, tsk tsk, they wish they could scoop the entire Great Desolation into their bowls."

This was the question he and Hongyun were most concerned about on this trip.
After all, that golden light of Karma was too dazzling; who wouldn't be tempted by it?
Wu Ming shook his head, "Karma achievement of Dao? It sounds good, but the standards are set by the Heavenly Dao, too ethereal and elusive."
"My Wu Race is transformed from the essence and blood of Pangu Father God, naturally controlling the Law and refining the Physical Body. This is our Foundation, and also our advantage."
"Achieving Dao by force is too difficult; no one in the current Great Desolation can walk that path."
