Ray POV
"Amara, don't forget to reserve the entire restaurant near the bay. I'll have dinner tonight with my family there," I ordered while my eyes were glued to the computer screen.
I already told her to do so this morning, but I had to remind her again because I knew the restaurant that I wanted to bring my family to was quite popular, so getting an entire restaurant emptied out was not easy, even when using my family name as a deterrent.
I couldn't wait for the day to be over, so I could go home immediately and bring Claudia and the girls to dinner. As my body itched, my hands began to type faster, hoping I could finish every document that I had to check faster.
I thought Amara would say, "Understood, Sir."
But she was silent the whole time, so I looked up to stare at my secretary, who was standing with an uneasy look.
I frowned. "What's wrong?"
