"Mommy, we are ready!"
Aurora and Lara walked out of their rooms and approached me. They looked cute with their matching hairpins, courtesy of Aurora wanting to be twins with Lara.
They both had big smiles, especially Aurora, who always loved going out shopping, even if the little girl didn't buy anything in the end. Aurora told me a while ago that she really liked seeing me buy things other than groceries because I never had that experience before.
"Let's go, Mommy," Lara said while holding Aurora's hand. "Aurora said that she wants to eat ice cream for brunch. Can I get the blueberry one?"
"And I want strawberry!" Aurora added.
I stared at my girls in doubt. I wasn't sure if this was just someone who wanted to ruin my relationship with Ray or harm me. The wise option would obviously be to ignore it and go on with my life.
Besides, AI was rampant these days. Who knew? It might be AI, right?
