Detective Penn's voice was like thunder on a clear sky for me, to the point that my ears began to ring once a strong headache hit me.
I couldn't believe those girls would wake up after I pushed them so hard that their heads were bleeding.
On top of that, it was Aurora who woke up first, not Lara!
If it was Lara, I could've forced her to lie and say that it was Claudia who pushed her, but Aurora? After the scuffle between Claudia and me in the hospital, I hadn't been able to visit Lara, because I was still wounded.
On top of that, I got news from the hospital janitor on the fifth floor, whom I fucked, that Aurora's ward had three armed female officers working in shifts to protect the door 24/7. It was practically impossible to go in now.
It was also bad news for me, because if I could walk in this very night, I would've done the same by fucking whichever new security guard was in the hospital, and then get in to smother Aurora with a pillow.
