Claudia POV
I didn't expect Ray to agree so easily.
Of course, I knew that my request wasn't troublesome. Flower arranging had always been my passion since I was young.
But as a girl living in a backwater town with an abusive family, flower arranging was such a stupid thing to do, because there was not even a professional florist in town, except for a few old ladies who just liked gardening.
I liked working with one before, but the pay was so meager that I was forced to abandon it to survive in Los Angeles.
I was anxious about Ray's agreement because I was told by Jane back then that Ray disliked change. She said that he was rigid about his living space, including the placement of the furniture, its material, or even the color. He was specific and uncompromising.
Thankfully, he wasn't as rigid as I thought.
