Though you should know that he is seen as a witness rather than a potential suspect like you," Ray replied with his back turned away from me. "The police cannot put you under arrest because there is no substantial evidence just yet, and since I've diagnosed you as mentally sane, you are not going to be put in a mental ward as well."
"In the end, the police are still waiting for both girls to wake up, because they are the key witnesses. If one of them wakes up and points her finger at someone, then that person is dead meat."
I was relieved that the investigation had slowed down considerably after Ray helped me with the diagnosis. But for how long could this continue until they made an arrest?
