Chapter 188 - Chapter 188: Ten Thousand Years and the Toad Sage

Although the completion of the Fifth Vitality Seal caused enough disruption that Dan was forced into secluded training in order to properly control and tame the excess power overflowing from him, it also raised his overall strength tremendously in every aspect all at once and at a speed he had never anticipated. The change was obvious, sharp, and immediate in a way completely different from every previous stage of growth he had experienced.

Especially after the Fifth Vitality Seal merged with the previous four seals, the effectiveness of each one increased dramatically after the complete integration, as if every seal had been missing a crucial piece needed to reach its true maximum potential. The five seals were not simply layered additions stacked on top of one another, but rather a single complete system functioning in perfect organic harmony. Each seal nourished the others, enhanced their efficiency, and elevated their capabilities in an endless closed cycle.

His talent and potential increased enormously, and his lifespan experienced a massive leap compared to what it had been before the completion of the Fifth Seal. At the moment, he felt as though every cell in his body had become a furnace of life energy operating at its absolute maximum output.

A constant stream of life energy flowed endlessly through him, nourishing every part of his body down to the smallest cellular levels touched by the Vitality Seals.

Dan estimated that his current lifespan should greatly exceed ten thousand years even in his present state, and this was only the beginning because he would continue improving over time as the five seals continued operating inside him without interruption.

The five seals functioned as a closed loop within his body, continuously and steadily increasing his strength, potential, and lifespan without end. He estimated that once the Fifth Vitality Seal reached its final perfected state, his lifespan would extend to roughly fifty thousand years according to his preliminary calculations. However, he would still need additional time to reach that complete state, and time was something that did not concern him in the slightest. Patience had always been one of the defining aspects of his approach ever since the first day he arrived in this world.

As for his raw physical strength, it had reached a new overwhelming level that rendered the training methods he had relied upon for years no longer sufficient. Even the Depth Seal technique he used for physical conditioning, which could simulate underwater pressure, was no longer nearly as effective as before, even when used at its maximum setting capable of replicating the pressure found twenty thousand meters beneath the ocean's surface.

That maximum level, which had once represented a genuine challenge capable of pushing his body to its limits, was no longer sufficient to produce the necessary training effect on his newly evolved physique that had surpassed that stage by a considerable margin.

Therefore, one of the first technological projects he intended to work on after emerging from seclusion would be upgrading the Depth Seal to a level appropriate for his new physical capabilities. He would also need to completely redesign his entire physical training regimen to match what he had now become.

As for his spiritual power, it had reached an extraordinary level, and this was the primary reason behind his isolated training. It had become so immense that containing it without it automatically affecting the surrounding environment and nearby living beings had become extremely difficult.

That was why the Inner World was the perfect place for isolation. It provided a completely separate space where he could carefully practice the precise control required.

Meanwhile, at the same time, atop Mount Myōboku, the sacred land of the toads, the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, stood in the presence of a gigantic toad—the ruler of the mountain and the Great Toad Sage.

The fact that Hagoromo had personally come to this place alone was itself proof of the level of concern he felt. He was not a being who would resort to such a step unless the matter was of exceptional importance and beyond what he could personally foresee.

The great toad spoke in a deep voice.

"Very well. I shall use prophecy and see whether this person troubling you will affect the future of this world."

Hagoromo lowered his head slightly in a gesture of sincere respect.

"Thank you, Great Toad Sage."

His tone remained controlled, but beneath it lay genuine concern that he could not entirely conceal before the Toad Sage who had once been his teacher during his youth.

Ever since coming into contact with the Walt Family, he had begun to feel that the threads of the future he had spent so long weaving might no longer be progressing according to his plans. And for a being like Hagoromo, who had spent ages seeing farther than others and guiding the flow of events, the presence of a variable he could not calculate was deeply unsettling.

The great toad slowly closed his eyes and began concentrating on his prophecy.

And Hagoromo waited silently to discover what the vision would reveal about the blue-haired young man and his family.
