"Hahahahaha!"
Leon's loud laughter echoed throughout the battlefield as he swiftly dodged and leapt between the massive tree trunks within the forest that Ishin had summoned using Mokuton.
The forest was so dense, tangled, and enormous that the entire area had been transformed into a highly restrictive and extremely complex combat environment, yet Leon moved through it with ease and freedom as though it were his own personal playground.
BOOOM! BOOOM!
He threw two quick punches in front of him, shattering two consecutive wooden attacks while fluidly jumping between the giant trunks. Then he stepped down with tremendous force on one of them during his leap, causing it to crack under the pressure. Spinning through the air, he avoided a swift sword attack launched by Hiroshi Uchiha from behind, taking advantage of Leon's distraction. The sharp blade was aimed directly at Leon's back.
At that exact same moment, Leon unleashed a powerful kick aimed at Hiroshi's back. Realizing that his attack had completely failed and that the kick was now unavoidable, Hiroshi quickly manifested the skeletal armor of Susanoo around himself.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
He was sent flying with tremendous force despite the skeletal Susanoo armor receiving the kick from Leon's bare foot and absorbing part of its overwhelming power.
The skeletal armor partially cracked under the impact, demonstrating the terrifying level of strength hidden within Leon.
At that exact same time, the glowing blue spheres appeared once again above Leon's head, floating and pulsing with concentrated chakra. They immediately launched blue attacks toward the new wave of wooden trunks coming from every direction.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
The attacks shattered the incoming trunks one after another before speeding toward Ishin, who was controlling the wooden forest from afar.
The moment Ishin saw the blue attacks heading toward him, he leapt sideways with all his speed and successfully avoided two of them. However, he could not completely evade the third, so he summoned a massive wooden shield in front of himself at the last moment.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
The wooden shield was completely destroyed by the attack, and Ishin was sent flying backward with tremendous force. Yet as soon as he regained his balance in midair, he realized that additional attacks were still pursuing him without stopping. He immediately leapt sideways again and began moving rapidly through the dense wooden forest, weaving between the trunks while avoiding the blue attacks that relentlessly chased him and destroyed every wooden barrier in their path without pause.
The wooden forest that Ishin had created to protect himself and restrict Leon's movement was gradually becoming a dangerous battlefield for him as he jumped through it while avoiding the pursuing blue attacks.
At the same time, Leon appeared before Hiroshi, who was still recovering from the powerful kick, and the two immediately entered a fierce and rapid close-quarters clash.
Although Hiroshi was using the special ability of his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, which allowed him to increase his physical speed tenfold, he could barely keep up with Leon, who was colliding against his sword using only his hardened bare arms.
Every exchange revealed the enormous gap in level between the two despite Hiroshi's tremendous efforts. Every strike Leon blocked with his body nearly rebounded onto Hiroshi from the sheer force behind it, causing his sword-wielding hands to tremble violently. Yet he continued attacking with all the strength, speed, and determination he possessed.
Then, in one decisive moment, Hiroshi was slightly too slow to block a palm strike from Leon that he failed to notice in time.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
A tremendous force erupted at the moment of impact, sending him flying a great distance through several branches of the dense Mokuton forest before he finally came to a stop.
"Hooof!"
Hiroshi spat a mouthful of blood from his lips as he knelt on one knee, struggling to recover his ragged breathing and scattered concentration after the devastating blow he had received. His body felt unbearably heavy, but his will remained unbroken.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
Another powerful explosion sounded from elsewhere, and Ishin's body was launched in the same direction. He crashed down near Hiroshi, bleeding as well and breathing with obvious difficulty. It was clear that he too had suffered a heavy blow.
The two young men looked at one another while breathing heavily. There were no words between them in that moment, only a deep mutual understanding conveyed through a single glance that said everything.
Leon stood before them, looking at them with eyes filled with excitement and admiration.
"You two have truly amazed me with how much you've grown together!"
Then he fell silent for a moment, staring at the exhausted young patriarchs who were still standing and resisting with every ounce of strength and will they had left. Then he spoke in a cheerful and enthusiastic voice.
"Well then, I think that's enough warming up. Come on, show me the results of your training since our last battle! Hahahaha!"
The word "warm-up" alone was enough to demonstrate the immense difference in level between them. Everything the two young men had endured the effort, the injuries, and the struggle had merely been a simple warm-up from Leon's perspective.
Emi spoke in a neutral tone.
"The true battle begins now."
The two patriarchs raised their weapons once more and planted their feet firmly despite the pain, as though silently declaring that they would not fall until the earth itself forced them down.
