Tired of his excuses, Alexander Hawthorne cut him off. "If you go and bring Aria Sterling back, get her pregnant, and give me a grandson, I'll let you go right now."
"Does it have to be her? Can't it be someone else?"
"You're already legally married! If you get a new wife, it'll be your second marriage. What's all this talk about finding someone else?" Alexander Hawthorne roared. "Besides, you'd have to find a woman who'd even have you! Don't you realize that any girl who gets close to you is risking her life?"
Landon Hawthorne was speechless.
"Three days. Bring Aria Sterling back."
Hearing this, Landon Hawthorne felt the pressure. 'That's too soon.' "Three days is too short. Give me a month."
