The phone in her bag was ringing.
Alaric Davenport frowned slightly. 'Why didn't she even bring her phone?'
He took the bag from Ethan Lockwood's hands, opened it, and pulled out the phone. The call was from Herman Lowell.
He answered the phone. Before he could say a word, Herman Lowell's voice erupted from the other end.
"Rosalind Lowell, you dare to threaten Faye?! I told you to get more money from the Davenport family, have you done it? What are you doing all day? If this is too much for you, then get back here and work for your old man! It'd be even better if you could get some Davenport shares. You need to flatter that old man, and Alaric Davenport too, you hear me?!"
