Alaric Davenport had just hung up with the construction foreman. Before he could even catch his breath, Zeke Hayes called.
"Peachwillow Mall? What's she doing over there?"
The construction foreman had told him that she'd gotten very angry after a phone call. 'Who could make her that angry?'
"Alaric, where are you going?"
Ethan Lockwood had just walked in with a file when he saw Alaric Davenport about to leave.
"The meeting is about to start."
"Postpone it."
Seeing that he was determined to leave, Ethan Lockwood had no choice but to follow. "I'll go with you."
Alaric Davenport didn't respond, which Ethan took as tacit approval.

Faye Lowell tossed a full-body bear costume at her.
"Why would I wear this?" Rosalind Lowell glanced at the suit. 'Wear this in this heat?'
Faye Lowell's eyes were closed as her makeup artist worked. Without even opening them to glance at Rosalind, she said, "I need people for my livestream."
