Jensen Morrison noticed that ever since the airport explosion, Ivy Holden had been intentionally avoiding him.
It wasn't the kind of avoidance born from disgust, and there was no resentment in it either. When he thought about it carefully, the look in her eyes whenever she snuck a glance at him was filled with panic and fear.
'What is she afraid of?' Jensen Morrison simply couldn't figure it out.
"Ivy? Are you up?" At seven in the morning, Jensen Morrison came and knocked on Ivy Holden's door.
There was no sound from inside. After waiting a moment, Jensen Morrison reached for the doorknob. With a gentle twist, the door opened.
"Huh? Where'd she go?" Jensen Morrison looked at the neatly made princess bed and drawn curtains. He scanned the room but didn't see Ivy Holden. Her pajamas were in the laundry basket, and her everyday backpack was gone.
Jensen Morrison grabbed his phone and called her. "Where did you go?"
