Ivy Holden goofed around for Hazel Sterling for a little while, only leaving after she saw the old woman laugh herself tired and fall peacefully asleep.
Jensen Morrison wasn't in the living room. Ivy Holden checked the study and the courtyard, but he wasn't in either place.
Just as she was wondering where he could have gone, the phone in her hand started to vibrate.
It was a call from Nathan Rowan. Ivy quickly answered. "Nathan, what's up?"
"Ian Rowan is back, and the little rascal is insisting on staying with you. Is that okay?"
"Of course it is. Send him over." Ivy was thrilled. 'Talk about perfect timing.' Just when she was thinking about finding an expert hacker to bypass some firewalls and do some digging, young Ian Rowan shows up.
"Alright, then. I'm busy, so I don't have time to drop him off. I'll have him find his own way to you."
"I'll have Bill Holden arrange for someone to pick him up. Is he at your place or the bar?"
