Ivy Holden watched coldly as the people responsible for her mother's death were led away. She let out a long, slow breath.
But the thought that someone else was still getting away with it, hiding behind their status and nationality, quickly replaced her fleeting satisfaction with rage.
"Ivy, come with Dad to see your mother in a little while," Carson Holden said. He didn't know that Amanda Spencer was merely a pawn and still believed she was the true killer.
Ivy Holden looked up, her gaze sweeping over the dozen or so reporters gathered at the courthouse entrance. "Dad, let's go see Mom first thing tomorrow morning," she said calmly. "I have one more urgent matter to take care of." As she spoke, her eyes locked onto Milo Halloway.
"Alright." Carson Holden understood his daughter's intentions. "You're right. We should take care of all these messy people and problems before we go see your mother."
