"Let him get up. We'll do a urine test."
Lin Chu: ?
He froze for a second before snapping out of it, a wry expression on his face.
Still, it was understandable. A party that wild would inevitably make people think of... other things.
About ten minutes later.
Lin Chu finished his urine test.
Naturally, the results came back clean.
After the interrogation transcript was complete, an older officer entered and said, expressionless, "Have him sign a written pledge promising not to engage in similar behavior again. Then you can let him go."
And so...
Another half hour of hassle went by.
Lin Chu finally got his phone back and was allowed to leave.
Once in the office, he was surprised to see several people waiting for him: the guesthouse receptionist, Bai Weiwei, and two middle-aged men who appeared to be her family. They were both getting on in years.
'Hm?'
'What a turnout...'
Lin Chu let out a long sigh, a slight smile touching his lips.
"Sorry to have troubled you all."
