"Lao Yuan! I wasn't doing anything else! I swear I wasn't!"
Ah Jie's neck was locked tightly in Shen Yuan's arm, and he immediately found it hard to breathe. He struggled frantically, trying to escape Shen Yuan's hold.
"I treat you like a damn brother, and you're trying to cuck me? This brotherhood is over!" Shen Yuan's rage didn't lessen despite Ah Jie's explanation.
Ah Jie was being squeezed so hard he could barely breathe. His face was flushed red, and veins bulged on his forehead.
He rapidly slapped Shen Yuan's arm, hoping to get his attention and make him let go.
"It was a joke! Lao Yuan! I'm sorry! Just a joke! Give me some air! I'm dying!"
Ah Jie's voice was growing hoarse, and his breaths became increasingly labored.
Seeing that Ah Jie was genuinely choking, the anger in Shen Yuan's heart finally subsided a little.
He hesitated for a moment, then slowly let Ah Jie go.
Finally able to breathe fresh air again, Ah Jie took huge, gasping breaths.
