"Did you guys rob a store?" Bai Qingye asked, looking at the mountain of shopping bags as he adjusted the glasses that had slipped down his nose.
"We were just wondering where you were. Where did you go today?" Shi Li couldn't help but regret her impulsive shopping spree.
There was just so much stuff. Even with Jensen there as extra muscle to hang the clothes, it still felt like a massive amount of work.
"I went out to see a friend. You got a problem with that?" Seeing Shi Li ask about his whereabouts, Bai Qingye was intentionally vague.
He just vaguely said he went out to see a friend.
Seeing that he didn't seem to want to talk about it, Shi Li didn't press him.
"Come help us organize all this. There's just too much." Shi Li didn't let Bai Qingye stay idle.
She pointed at the pile of rolling clothing racks nearby and ordered Bai Qingye to start unpacking bags and hanging clothes too.
