Sates didn't know how they had gotten past the outer wall, nor how they knew all of their defensive positions, but he wasn't the least bit afraid.
Sates's original form was a tiger, standing three meters tall, but he still seemed dwarfed by the giant spider.
But his presence was no less imposing. Human words came from the tiger's mouth. "Who said he's dead? You think you're worthy? Surrender? I wouldn't accept *your* surrender!!"
The giant spider clearly thought Sates was lying. "He's not dead? Impossible. I saw him and his combat Mecha destroyed with my own eyes all those years ago."
"Believe it or not."
As he spoke, he lunged at the giant spider like a fierce tiger, his jaws clamping down on its leg.
"AAAAH—"
Its leg caught in his jaws, the giant spider lifted it and shook it violently, trying to throw Sates off.
The giant spider was incredibly fast. The moment it lifted its leg, Sates had already leaped away, only to turn and charge back in.
