When Aria Sterling heard the voice, her expression changed, and she immediately turned her head. Her lively, sparkling eyes watched the man walking toward her, a subtle change flickering within them.
Damian Xavier. He was like a noble prince straight out of a fairy tale. His cool, thin lips were curved in a faint smile, making him look exceptionally handsome under the brilliant lights.
Adrian Sinclair turned to look as well.
He had long heard of Damian Xavier, but this was their first meeting. He hadn't expected Damian's presence to be so powerful, to say nothing of the noble air about him that was enough to make everyone else in the room pale in comparison.
"What, Mr. Hayes, speechless now that you see me?" Damian Xavier walked up to her, his smile lazy.
Aria Sterling composed herself and gave a small smile. "Not at all. I just didn't expect you to be here, Mr. Xavier. Hello."
She did her best to sound calm and polite, as if they were meeting for the first time.
