At that moment, Inar shot out from the surface of the sea. His tricorne hat was long gone, and his hair, previously brown, had turned a dry, grayish-white. Several new wrinkles creased his face, making him look much older. The spider legs emerging from his body were also significantly shriveled; more than half of the black-glowing barbs on them had vanished under the assault of the water pillars.
Behind him, several aberrations leaped from the sea, their tentacles, covered in crimson eyes, thrusting in unison toward his back.
"Jia'an, Yi, Yunus!" Inar growled.
Four spider legs swept out, weaving two cross-shaped black blades in the air that tore the few Deep Sea aberrations to shreds. As thick green blood sprayed out, mangled tentacles scattered onto the churning sea, throwing the surrounding aberrations into a complete frenzy.
"ROAR—"
The roars of the aberrations failed to draw any more of Inar's attention.
