Jiang Yixia's hands paused. She glanced up at him, then lowered her head again and said flatly, "No."
Lu Fan smiled, unfazed. He continued, "By the way, I saw Jiang Ming today."
Jiang Yixia froze for a moment and looked up at him. "Jiang Ming? What about him?"
Lu Fan briefly explained what had happened that evening.
After he finished, Jiang Yixia looked nervous. "She didn't do anything to Jiang Ming, did she?"
Lu Fan shook his head. "Don't worry, it's all taken care of. She won't dare to come back again."
Jiang Yixia was silent for a few seconds before lowering her head and resuming her tidying. A moment later, she said softly, "Thank you."
Lu Fan's eyes lit up. He leaned in closer and asked, "What was that? I didn't quite hear you."
Jiang Yixia looked up and glared at him, saying nothing.
Lu Fan chuckled and decided not to tease her any further.
He looked at Jiang Yixia and said suddenly, "Yixia, I want to eat your noodles."
