Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: No One Can Refuse a Mature Woman! Absolutely No One

Misty: [...]

Since Nina Donovan had completed her task so well, it couldn't be bothered to lecture her.

Misty looked gleefully at the 20% progress.

It really hadn't been easy.

Ever since it had been assigned to manage this storyline, Nina Donovan was the first person to get it past the 20% progress mark. How was she any different from its savior?

Misty was moved to tears: [Host, I don't care what you do with the other storylines, but you absolutely have to properly complete the one involving the male lead.]

Nina Donovan was rummaging through her drawers and closet.

Misty continued to remind her: [The male lead might be handsome, but once you have ten billion, you can find a hundred handsome men. Don't let yourself be charmed.]

From a pile of white princess dresses, Nina Donovan found a tight, lotus pink bodycon dress with an innocently seductive vibe.

Nina Donovan changed into it and started striking poses in front of the mirror.

Misty: [Hello? Are you even listening to me?]

Nina Donovan took her phone and snapped a photo of her body, making sure not to show her face.

The tight, lotus pink bodycon dress made her figure look voluptuous. Both innocent and alluring, her skin seemed to glow.

Nina Donovan nodded in satisfaction and replied to Misty in a completely perfunctory manner, "I know everything you've said. You came to the right person for this task. Those types with weak convictions, easily swayed by a pretty face? They're nothing special."

Misty: [...So, what are you doing?]

Nina Donovan's phone chimed.

She quickly opened the message.

Vernal: [Then I guess I should call you 'Senior.' I'm taking the college entrance exams next year, and my goal is Aethelgard University too.]

Nina Donovan casually sent the seductive photo.

After waiting for about a minute to make sure he had seen it, she unhurriedly un-sent the message.

Sonnet: [Oh my, sorry about that, Milo. I meant to send that photo to my bestie for her opinion on a dress. Hope I didn't bother you?]

Nina Donovan saw the "typing..." indicator flashing continuously on the other end.

About a minute later.

He sent a reply.

Vernal: [The dress is very nice.]

Sonnet: [Really? Then I'll wear this tomorrow. I trust your judgment, junior.]

The "typing..." indicator flashed nonstop, but no reply ever came.

Nina Donovan burst out laughing on her bed.

"See? He's shy! A prime catch like him... reeling him in is a piece of cake for me."

No one can resist a queen! No one!

Misty: [...] 'You're something else, aren't you.'

Nina Donovan glanced at the time. It was 9:30 p.m.

She replied: [I'm going to bed, Milo. Good night.]

After he replied with "good night" as well, Nina Donovan switched from her alt account to her main one.

It was filled with contacts.

Since she hadn't logged in for two days, a flood of messages popped up, causing her phone to lag for a moment.

Her pinned contact was Leon Grant. Their chat history ended three days ago.

The original owner of the body had promised to deal with Jasper Sherwood and make him get the hell out of Ninth High.

Leon Grant hadn't replied.

Nina Donovan immediately unpinned the contact, sending him to the bottom of her list, out of sight.

Then she opened Sharon Campbell's messages.

Sharon Campbell: [Nina, when are we going to get the money back?]

Sharon Campbell: [Nina, are you there? My brother said he doesn't care about the money. He's just pissed about how badly Jasper Sherwood treated you and wants to teach him a lesson for you.]

Sharon Campbell: [Nina? Where are you? Can you give me 10,000 yuan? I want to get a little touch-up done.]

Seeing that last sentence, Nina Donovan raised an eyebrow slightly.

'She really thinks I'm her personal ATM.'

She replied unhurriedly: [I've thought about it. There's no need for me to get involved over such a small amount of money. If your brother is so capable, tell him to get it back himself.]

'My task is already done. Why would I go looking for trouble with Jasper Sherwood?'

She wasn't going to do anything unnecessary.

Sharon Campbell waited five hours, only to receive that one-line reply from Nina Donovan.

She was furious.

It didn't matter to her whether they got the money back or not; she just wanted to get money from Nina Donovan.

Sharon Campbell: [Nina, what about the money for my touch-up?]

Nina Donovan immediately logged out of the account, pretending she hadn't seen it. 'Heh heh, let that frenemy stew.'

Misty: [Host, the third task has arrived. Tomorrow, your school will announce the participants for the National Math Competition. You need to find a way to make the male lead lose this opportunity, take his spot, and make him miss the competition.]
