The scent inside the car made Barto's expression turn ugly.
He hauled Gu Ning out of the vehicle.
"How is it?" Gu Ning whispered.
"Don't talk," Barto said, looking down at her disguise. "The moment you open your mouth, you'll give the whole thing away."
Gu Ning shut her mouth.
"It's not bad," Barto said, a slight smirk playing on his lips. "You actually look more like a Wolf Clan Mixed Breed than before."
She reeked of wolf.
"I made the ears. The ones they make are trash," Barto emphasized, glancing at the wolf ears on top of her head.
Gu Ning gave him a thumbs-up.
Then, as if remembering something, she whispered, "You guys… planned this… beforehand?"
Barto replied, "Not a plan. Just a contingency."
'He didn't want her smelling like any other beast.'
"What are you still doing here? You can't be with us." Vine got out from behind Gu Ning and pulled her over to him.
