"Wanwan, don't look at him. Look at me." Yan Lie shifted over, blocking her line of sight.
Bai Wanwan was helpless against him, so she could only try to placate him. "Chou Rong must need to talk to me about something. Why don't you go check on the cubs for me? I'll come find you in a little while."
"Then give me a kiss."
Resigned, Bai Wanwan could only cup his face and give him another kiss.
Only then was Yan Lie satisfied, and he left, looking back over and over again.
Once Yan Lie's figure had disappeared around the wall, Bai Wanwan slowly walked toward Chou Rong.
"Why are you out here? You're so badly injured. Why aren't you resting and recovering?"
As she spoke, she reached out to support him.
"You've had cubs for all of them?"
"No, I haven't had Yin Ze's yet."
After she said this, she noticed Chou Rong looking at her with a smile that wasn't quite a smile.
It dawned on Bai Wanwan immediately, and she quickly tried to cover her tracks. "Xin Feng told me."
