Mr. Sinclair was drinking soy milk and nearly spat it out when he heard Chloe Sinclair's bold declaration.
Chloe quickly handed him a napkin.
Mr. Sinclair wiped his mouth and said, "Chloe, well..."
"Dad, I'll study hard."
She had now mastered nearly all three years' worth of high school material, so getting into Emberfall University didn't seem difficult at all.
Mr. Sinclair looked like he wanted to say something but held his tongue. Although a father should support and encourage his daughter's studies, for some reason, hearing those words come from her mouth felt utterly incredible.
Nina Sinclair sneered from the side. She knew Chloe Sinclair's grades; trying to raise her score by five or six hundred points in the remaining two months was practically impossible.
"Dad, the exam is about to start. Chloe and I will get going."
