Shirley Thorne gave her the green light, saying happily, "Oh, that's wonderful! Getting out for more walks would be great!"
Upon hearing this, Susan Langley breathed a sigh of relief. 'Looks like this girl actually believes me now,' she thought.
She had it all planned out. Once she was out, she would find an opportunity to look around, ask about Warren's whereabouts, and then go raise some money.
If worst came to worst, she could set Warren up somewhere safe where he could hide from his creditors.
She got a little lost in thought, and a smile crept onto her lips. She was clearly immersed in daydreams of a wonderful future, unable to pull herself away.
