The Secret File
The forest was dark and silent.
Ariba, Ryan, and Victor finally stopped running near an abandoned cabin.
Everyone looked exhausted.
Ryan leaned against the wall.
"That was too close."
Victor nodded.
"They'll keep hunting us."
Ariba took out the flash drive again.
"We still have the evidence."
Ryan opened his laptop.
"Let's see what else is inside."
He plugged in the flash drive.
Several hidden files appeared.
One file was named:
ARCHITECT – LEVEL 1
Ryan opened it.
Inside were photos, bank records, and secret meetings.
But one picture made Ariba freeze.
It showed her father talking to a powerful government official.
Ryan whispered,
"This man…"
Victor looked closely.
"Yes," he said slowly.
"He's one of the most powerful people in the country."
Ariba's heart started racing.
"Are you saying he's the Architect?"
Victor shook his head.
"No."
"He works for the Architect."
Before they could say anything else—
Ryan's laptop screen suddenly turned black.
A message appeared.
"Nice try."
Then another line appeared.
"But you're digging too deep."
Suddenly the laptop shut down completely.
Victor's face turned serious.
"He just hacked us."
Ryan whispered,
"The Architect is watching us."
